Data loss in case one of the two windows get corrupted

Hello,
suppose if i have windows installed in c and d drive both. Will i be able to access the data of the c drive from the d drive window if the c drive window gets corrupted.

  1. You have a better chance so long as they're not both installed on the same physical hard disk. However, there's no substitute for a strong backup on to a disk which is stored away from the computer and preferably, in a fire proof box.

    If having a second installation is only to be used for backup purposes, it's not a good idea.
