Acer inspire one

Hi I'm getting the below error on my acer inspire.
One of your disks needs to be checked for consistency...' how can I skip it? I let it complete but it didn't begin to load, just stayed at the same screen. Please help laura

How long did you let it sit there? It usually runs 3 steps, and it can take a long time (hours). If it continues to try to run even after it completed fully and loaded Windows, you probably have a failing hard drive. At that point, check the warranty to get a new hard drive and work on backing up your data ASAP.
