New build - low benchmark - confusion :P

Hey all,

Just got a question as to why my rig only benched 7987 3dmarks on 3DMark Vantage (latest 3D Mark).

I am running a new rig that I put together a few days ago and have all updates...

CPU: AMD Phenom Quad 9750 (2.4GHz)
Board: Gigabyte GA-790FX DS5
RAM: 4GB generic 1066MHz DDR2
Graphics Card: ASUS Radeon HD4870 512MB GDDR5
PSU: CoolerMaster 650w eXtreme Power Duo (I think?)
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit

Case: Antec Nine Hundred

I have seen E8400 intel chips with lesser video cards do better in the tests..

Just a little confused, is all..

Anyone know what could be causing this poor result?
