I'm reusing the mATX case from my old system, as well as the peripherals. Here's my preliminary list of hardware.

dont listen to him, stable PSU's are always best. You could go lower watt and it would be fine, but lower quality is never a good choice. I would definitely try for a dual-core

I like dirtmountain's build [The AMD one]. To The OP; the set-up he suggested is great. I would make a few small change though. I'd stick a 45w amd processor in there, as well drop down to an earthwatts 380w.

It won't play games or decode blu-ray smoothly, but the OP hasn't listed the real needs of his system. By general use standards, it'll bring up firefox and play videos on youtube just fine. It'll be a great low-power high efficiecy general use computer.
