I currently have the HP Pavilion Elite m9250f; http://shopper.cnet.com/desktops/h [...] 34181.html, and was wondering if I would have any problem upgrading to a better powersupply something in the 600w range. Also I would like to add in a radeon 4870. The desktop seems somewhat slimmer then normal, will I have any problems installing these two components??

Well, it all depends on the size of the case actually.

The 4870 is quite long and u'll need a lot of room in your case. Watch for cables along the way of the PCIe and see if there's room for it (or make room for it, lol). The PSU shouldn't be a problem, unless your case is non-standard.

there should be no problem with that setup


you can always make it fit with the right powertools

you will need about 9 or 10 inches

do you have and problems with heat now or can you go a couple degrees up
