I'm a noob and don't know much about which brands are better and so forth. But with the rebate, seems like pretty nice timings for under $30. Can anyone give me some guidance on this?

BTW, it will be going into this build:
Q6600
Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P
WD Caviar Black 640GB
SAPPHIRE 100257L Radeon HD 4870 512MB
Corsair 650W PSU
Xigmatek HDT S1283
SAMSUNG SATA 22X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe
Antec 900
Windows Vista 64 bit

Change the 4870 for the 1GB version.. it will be worth it for higher res and/or AA and AF ;)

Dunno about the ram

Get Xigmatek retention bracket as well!

The hell with buying it,Crucial is HORRIBLE for customer support, and their high end parts are just horrible.
Don't buy it off of buy.com,get it from Newegg(or eBuyer)

I'd get either Corsair or G. Skill, they have the best support and RAM.

I don't know if anyone who replied this post has any experience at all with Crucial but i have. Actually i bought the PC6400 4-4-4-12 about 8 months ago. I have to say that i had a failure when i got the ram. I did an RMA with them and it took 1 week ( back and forth) to get new modules.

I heard before that their client service was bad. I need to say that it was excellant this time. Fast service, very professional and the guys did know what they were talking about.

I would recommend Crucial anytime.

Also, on the buy.com website they say the ram will run at 2.0 volts. It's actually 2.2 volts for crucial.

Some of the ram runs at 2.0, some runs at 2.2. I have never had a problem with crucial ballistix ram, ever. And it oc's really well.

Buy it. Mine goes over 1200MHz at CAS 6, and supports lower timings at lower speeds.
