Hello everyone. I want to upgrade my pc and spend not too much, my current system:

Intel EE 3.75
Gygabyte 955x
Crucial 667MHZ latency 5

Im thinking of getting:

Intel q6600
some Asus motherboard
Some 800MHZ latency 4 memory (Is 4gb a good idea for vista?)

Can anyone recomend me with a nice Asus motherboard? I just need it to be compatible with vista and faster than a 955x chipset. Is P45 faster? Intel website has gone crazy. I also need it to have a nice stable RAID system My last RAID 1 broke downs and for some reason I want able to recover data....I guess RAID wasnt that good when I built it.

By teh way, Im planing on: (I alredy have the drives in my current system)

1 solo harddrive for Vista
3x HDs in RAID 5 for photos and gaming (3x 150GB aprox)
2x HDs in RAID 1 for video storage and backup from RAID 5 setup (2x 1TB)

Thanks for the reply, seems like a great board. I think Im gonna go with Asus P5QL-E. Its a little cheaper, the only diferences are that I cant run an ultra fast memory, cant run 2 vidoecards, and I get 6 instead of 8 sata ports.

By the way, both boards are vista 32-bit compatible right? Also, will my geforce 7950gx2 and Creative X-fi Elite work with it?

Yea both boards are Vista 32-bit compatible.

I would suggect getting the P5Q pro. Having two less SATA ports is no big deal, but personally I would hate it if any upgrades on my system were limited because of my motherboard.
