OVERCLOCK GA-K8N ULTRA-9

I'm new with this whole overclocking thing and I need some help with it! Well first of all I have a GIGABYTE GA-K8N ULTRA-9 motherboard with a AMD ATHLON 64X2 3800. I have been able to overclock it to 2.3G but I cant go no further than that till windows doesn't boot up. I really think that I am missing a step some where in my bios setting with the ram voltage, chip set voltage, or maybe just the ram timing, I really dont know. I have been slowly increasing the cpu voltage(till it was stable with PRIME 95) and also have decreased the ht feq ratio down to 4x. If some one could please help me out with some recommended settings for the bios where I can get to the 3.0G mark I would greatly appreciate it!!
