Intel DP45SG & Q9550: Compatible?

I just got a new DP45SG motherboard and Q9550 CPU. Together, they don't post. Separately, with other CPU and motherboard combinations, they work fine. Intel says these are compatible. Did I miss something?

Help would be greatly appreciated!
