So I'm running a MSI k9a2-cf with (2)3870's in xfire mode. Yet it seems that im not really in xfire. The crossfire box is checked in cat-8.9 but for my set up identity it shows nothing about my configuration. My online test shows only one card running. With an amd board with a amd dual core 5600+ and (2)3870's am I missing something? Both connectors are attached and i have a 550 power supply. Also device manager shows both vga's listed. I'm running vista 32 bit btw. If anyone has my answer or a direction to point me in I would be very grateful.

More about : msi 3870

From what I've heard on the forums, if it says you're running in crossfire mode, then you're running in crossfire mode, and there's no real way to check as far as I know apart from looking at that little box.

GPU-Z should show you if crossfre is enabled. Though if CCC tells you it's active, it is running.
