Antec TruePower 1000 BLowup - Need advise

Question Antec TruePower 1000. That is not even close to 50% load, know to blowup while idle ?

Question it's possible to have killed other stuff?. Is there a special kind of protection inside Antec PSU ?

Question I know my PSU has 5 years Warranty. If it's dead and killed other hardware will ANTEC replace other parts ? Has anyone dealt with ANTEC before ?

Last night, I heard a huge powerfull electric buzzzz. It did not do BANG like typical PSU Explosion. It sounded like if a arc of lightning traveling on wires. It was extremly loud and I was very far in a diffrent room watching hockey and it out noise my hockey game and another tv with " wife stuff ". I dint had any clue about what just happened almost call the fire depart. I was not arround the computer at that time. I could smell the burned rubber all over the place. I tought that perhaps a shortcircuit happen in the wall. I Found out later that it was my Primary Computer. Nothing on my Belkin powerbar stopped working... beside my Quad Cpu

My Wife heard Hydro Transfo died in her life but nothing has scaring like last night... huge build of electricity buuuuzzz

No Boom or pow ... BuuUZzz

Intel Q6600 2.4ghz (was never oc)
2x1gig ram Kingston
M/b Asus Commando
BFG 8800 GT OC ( factory ) 512meg
Cpu Cooler Zelman n9700
Tower TT Armor 8003 with side fan 25cm
1 Serial ATA WD 250gig
1 IDE ATA 250 GIG
and 1 promise IDE controler

Observation : The PC wont turn on, everything inside look correct. I cant see any burn spot. Dont have a backup PSU to test. PSU does smell like crap. I have Heard PSU Died before but nothing close to that .....
