My friend bought an Asus 4850 that came with a nice software fan control program. It only works with Asus 4850's. I have a Sapphire 4850 with the Zalman cooler and would love some software that would allow me to have the fan speed change with the temperature. Is there such a thing?

The card is quiet, but still the loudest thing in my system.

Thanks!

Give this a whirl. I haven't tried it but maybe it works?

Hmmmm, I am getting a sneaking suspicion that the fan speed is fixed.

^Probably True. If you can't have the variable fan speed why not control your fan speed with your profile manager in the CCC? Just create multiple profiles with different fan speeds. Just switch as needed. When the pc is idle set the fan speed to about 35-40 % where it is relatively quiet and when you game change the profile and crank up the speed to your liking.

As in, I tried the CCC profile (fanfix) and it didn't do anything.
