HD overtemp

Does this mean I will be unable to repair my HD on my gateway laptop? I am unable to get into the recovery program. It starts then locks up. There is only 1 error that comes up and it is this overtemp error.

This is after you let everything cool down by keeping your laptop off for a few hours?
