Hello!

Long time reader, first time poster. I just bought a GA-EP45-UD3P, and slapped a QX9650 (a gift from my boss) in it.

I would like to set up teaming on the realtek on-board-nics. My router is a Linksys WRT54G. I am running Windows XP Pro mostly because I hear horrid things about Vista. (Side question would Vista be worth it now since I have 4G ram and a GFX card that supports DX10?)

Does anyone know if this is possible on XP? I cannot find a Realtek Teaming Utility for XP, only Vista =[ The Diagnostic software that came with it DOES allow me to set up teaming but I lose internet.

Thanks in advanced!

Tim

Hey there man,

I'm sorry to inform you, but you don't need to waste your time looking for the teaming utility... Atthough your board supports the teaming, your router doesn't. Normally only enterprise-class swtches, hubs or routers support that. You need that it supports LAG, Link Aggregation Group, and LACP, and i'm pretty sure your WRT54G doesn't :( ...
Best regards,
