Sims 2 university install problem

Forum Windows XP : Drivers Sims 2 university install problem

Hello,
I had both sims2 double deluxe and university life collection installed on my computer.
Then I uninstalled them and did a restore of my computer.
after this I installed sims 2 double deluxe back on, and went to install university and got a message that read: 'all the packs are already installed' but I know that sims university didn't install. do you know what could be wrong? please try to help thanks

When you delete applications or programs, many times they do not delete entirely. Some files may remain in the system.
This is not unusual, and occurs with many other programs and applications.
