Which is better a duo core 45nm (E7300)
or a quad core 65nm (Q6600)

superior architecture or more core's
which one can get better results

I have a E7200 3Gig RAM 9600GT. Its not slow in any game i've played but i don't run alot of background apps. If you do run alot of them and encode videos, photoshop, etc. then the Quad will be better suited

I have the Q6600 and have overclocked it easily to 3.4Ghz per core on a cheap air cooler.

I have an 8800GT and can run Crysis @ 1680x1050 at full details including the DX10 locked stuff. (an easy hack to replace the config file)

I would recommend the Q6600 because it just hasn't disappointed me in any way.
