How much video ram do I need?

I'm just about to get myself a Samsung T240 24" monitor.

Question is, how much video ram would you recommend to run it in 1920x1200 with a second monitor in 1280x1024? All this while running warcraft at a good speed on the samsung.

512MB's would be enough for WoW even at that resolution, but other games might want 1GB if you want all the goodies turned on
