Windows xp 64 bit usb install

Hello,
ive been reading about installing windows from a usb flash drive but, im trying to do this with the 64bit edition and cannot seem to figure out how to do it, i have tried various methods but none have worked, any suggestions? thanks

I think your hardware must support this function first. If you cant boot from USB, then it doesn't matter what you do with the OS. Also, I think this functionality is not present in XP. I know 7 can. Im sure XP could, but you would likely have to tweak it a bit.
