System has been running for 2 months. I haven't used the PATA DVD drive since building the machine and installing the OS, but it has been recognized up until this week. The drive is getting power, spins up discs, but the BIOS no longer detects it. When I have the chance, I will check with a backup drive, but I wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone else has had a PATA IDE port fail on their new Gigabyte board.
