First off, sorry for posting this in a wrong section, but more veterans are on this section.

The Problem: when users have their RAM installed, the OS only reports 2GB/4,etc and not the full amount of the RAM installed, HOWEVER, CPUZ seems to report the full RAM amount installed. This problem seems to be strictly with the X58 boards. Memtest86+ also reveals no problems in most cases.

Could this be a problem with the X58 chip set as more than one motherboard model, RAM type, etc seems to be affected by this?
