Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone knows of any good sites with reviews for this processor. I've been looking but can't seem to find any...

I'm not looking for the black edition. Just the regular X2 5400+ 2.8GHZ 65nm cpu.

Thanks in advance.

The x2 5400+ is a decent proc. I've had one for about a year with no complaints.

Because of AMDs wacky memory divisors the X2 5400+ at stock will run DDR2 800 at spec speed ...

2800 divided by 7 = 400 x 2 = 800MHz ram speed

If you think you may do a bit of OCing in the future an X2 5600+ at 2.9GHz or the X2 6000+ at 3GHz may be a better choice. They have the ""8"" memory divisor and will run your RAMs at spec at 3.2GHz.

edit: I fergit ...

Here's Tom's CPU Chart
http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/cpu-charts-2008-q1-2008/PCMark-2005-Memory,383.html

The X2 5400+ on the chart sez it is a Windsor but it most likely is a Brisbane core ...
