Hi all i was wondering if you could possibly help me?

I currently have a Asus P5N32-E SLI PLUS motherboard and am in the process of buying a new graphics card. I am going for either the Nvidia 9800 GTX or the new GTX280.

Before i spend all that money I just wanted to know if my motherboard is compatible with these cards.

Many thanks for any answers.

Yes it is compatible. If your PS can handle the new card you are set.

many thanks for the quick reply. My only worry was that the card states that its PCI -2 , but the motherboard as far as i can see just says PCI, thats why I was confused.
Still dont really understand, but if your sure i will go for it.

pci-express 2.0 is backwards compatible with pci-e 1.1, which is what your motherboard has. the card will work fine. the difference between the two is that 2.0 has twice the bandwith, but cards aren't able to really make use of the extra bandwith just yet.

Hello

I once concidered buyng this borad so I can SLI my 8800 GT if needed. So I was wondering if I can ask 2 questions.

1) Can I SLI 2 8800 GT with this board?

2) Is this board more stable than reliable than the P5N 750i? It is only a $20 difference at my local store.
