I know this is a stupid question but, how much thermal grease should I put on the heatsink? Like how much is enough/to much. Pea size?

What heatsink?

For Non DHT: A drop the size of 2 grains of rice on the CPU. Spread it on the CPU with your finder covered in cling wrap.

With your finder covered in cling wrap...Take a large zip tie, clean the pointed/angled end and paint a whisper thin amount over the chip, you're only trying to fill the MICRO imperfections in the metal between the cpu and the heatsink, not insulate it!
