So I'm passing down my not-so-cherished Dell to my brother, and I need to find something to replace it. My budget is $1250, and my intended use is mostly gaming and surfing--I don't plan on much video editing, etc. I just need the box, no monitor or peripherals.

I was thinking of an HD4870 for the GPU and an E8400 for the CPU. I'm pretty much at a loss for what to do for the other parts. Can you guys recommend me a $1250 build with that GPU and CPU? (Or is that unfeasible?)

Thanks!

Does that price include a monitor and operating system?

Don't need a monitor, but do need an OS.
