Reason for seeing network service, Local service and Default folder hidden acco

Hello,
I am using windows XP OS with three login users. But recently Show hidden files and folders option has been selected in folder option. but i have not selected this option. The PC speed also decreases. I am seeing these account folders in one of limited login user only. Is this problem indicate virus problem or my computer is attacked by anybody else. Please help me.
