Hi,

I recently made the switch from XP Pro 32-bit to 7 RC 64-bit. The computer runs great, except for the internet. I have a feeling my current PCI ethernet adapter is either not 7 compatible, or not 64-bit compatible. I am not at home right now to check for 64-bit drivers, but because it is almost 2 years old, I feel like I may need a new adapter.

I have been looking at several, and was wondering if anyone had some good recommendations for a PCI adapter that is 7/64-bit compatible?

Furthermore, the options to get a standalone router are pretty endless, and I was wondering if its possible to connect to wireless internet through a router.
We have an apple router now giving the apartment wireless, and I was not sure if I could get my own wireless router to connect to the internet with? If this is possible, it seems like I could get a much more effective product that way, as opposed to a PCI ethernet adapter.

Thanks

Edit: I should mention that I am able to get on the internet with my current router, but often torrents will stall and I get frequent connecton problems in a few games.
