Work off-line

Every time I'm on line a box will pop up saying I'm off-line and to connect to the internet. My tool bar says I'm connected , but I can't go anywhere. When I click on file and work off-line is checked, if I click to clear it, it just comes back on. When I click on tools and then internet options, there is nothing there to get rid of work off-line. HELP!! this is so annoying.

Check your network connection, to see if it's running with limited connectivity.

It usually says, status connected, signal strength excellent, and speed 54.0 Mbps. It is through our phone co. (a landline). When the box pops up, it says to connect to MSN. I have no idea what's going on.

It can have a connection, and be local only.

Right click on your connection, and click 'repair.'
