Hi this my first post.

So here goes I have this psu...

http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?NOV-PSU550

Currently im running As rockd667 MOBO, E4600, 2 gigs ram ddr3667, one DVD/cvd Driver, two 320gig HD's and a radeon HD 3850 the 256meg model along with 3 fans.

Everything runs fine and dandy but, Im thinking of getting a 4870 and want to know if it is possible to use two 4 to 6 pin converters at the same time so I can power the 4870?

Thanks alot.

the 4870 uses alot more power than the 3850. plus, a quality psu is always a better option. cheap psu's can blow under load and take most of your computer with it. after spending all that money on a system, dont take a risk and get a cheap psu. and with a newer psu, you wont have to use those adapters so you'll be able to have a cleaner inside of your case.
