Hi All,
I have a weird question can i burn simultaneously on 2 DVDRW sata drives, using ConvertX running twice ect,
I can encode 2 films ect at the same time using 91-95% of my resources
But have to wait to burn each other.
I currently have a DVDRW and a DVDROM drive on my home built upper range PC.
Many Thanks for any opinions

you will need 2 burners, you currently have 1.

I would think its possible since you say convertx is running 2 copies, as long as its doing the burning, should work.

some other software may allow it as well.

I believe with newer versions of Nero you can burn as many discs as you have burners and and memory

Yes, it is possible with two burners.

HOWEVER: When I tried it burning speed dropped to 1X for both burners. Tried several burning programs to no avail. A common problem, but have seen some post where they have got two drives to work at max (or close to max) speed. I have two Sata DVD writers (Plextor 755SA & Samsung S183L). Both drives work great by them self.

It's possible as long as you have 2 burners and your cpu can handle it.
