Please tell me what you think about them. ALSO *I was thinking about waiting for the hd radeon 48570 x2 to come out so it can be my single card solution instead of just going for the SLI config of my two 9800 gx2 WHICH SHOULD I GO FOR* If its better and I choose to go for the Hd radeon do I have to get diffrent kind of motherboard and ram since they are both SLI ready specialy because my mainboard is 780i. Please help figure out what i am doing and should do Thank you Peace and Much Love "TheAntiMother" CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80570E8500 Motherboard EVGA 132-CK-NF78-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard OPS Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 32-bit English 1pk for System Builders DSP OEI DVD Ram OCZ SLI-Ready Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2N800SR4GK GPU 2x XFX PVT98UZHF9 GeForce 9800 GX2 1GB (512MB per GPU) 512-bit (256-bit per GPU) GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card HDD Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive Power Supply OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI 700W ATX12V Power Supply Case Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case DVD-burner ASUS 20X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe Black SATA Model DRW-2014L1T DVD drive LITE-ON Black SATA DVD-ROM Drive Model DH-16D3S-04 CPU cooler ZALMAN 9500A 92mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound ALL OF THIS EQUALS TO $1,753.87 AT NEWEGG.COM (MINUS REBATES WHICH IN MY CASE IS $190.00) TOTAL WITH REBATE IS $1,563.87 PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK More about : read check Proximon August 7, 2008 3:59:00 AM Wait for the ATI. Get an x48 board or wait and get an x58 or whatever it is at the end of the year. TheAntiMother August 7, 2008 4:01:06 AM would that board or kind of board be for the crossfire cards? 48570 x2? Get the answer Proximon August 7, 2008 4:16:17 AM Yes X48 is for crossfire, as well as P45. Any nVidia boards such as 790 are for SLI. SLI boards from nVidia are not as stable and not as good overclockers as Intel chipsets. The new ATI cards blow nVidia out of the water. There is no reason to go SLI right now, unless you have an insane amount of cash to spend and want to SLI GTX 280s. TheAntiMother August 7, 2008 4:22:35 AM Ok then 48570 x2 it is XD one more question though should I change the type of RAM I have since its SLI ready or what? Can you tell me what you think of My computer specs? so far *just cross out the GPU and the motherboard and RAM if needed* thank you very much Proximon Proximon August 7, 2008 4:28:49 AM The whole SLI ready thing is just a gimmick. You can get great RAM for less: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... That is one good choice and there are others. skywalker9952 August 7, 2008 4:43:16 AM +1 for what Proximon said TheAntiMother August 7, 2008 4:55:49 AM +1 indeed roadrunner197069 August 7, 2008 5:25:27 AM +1 TheAntiMother August 7, 2008 9:37:51 PM Please check out my specs and tell me what you think "P hopkiller August 7, 2008 9:44:38 PM you need to get a 64 bit OS if you truly want 4gb of memory and if you want more later i would go with microsoft Vista ultimate 64 bit. TheAntiMother August 9, 2008 2:27:10 AM why go for the 64 bit OS? Ive heard many flaws about the 64 bit? How is it better than the 32 bit? Can't find your answer ? Ask !
