Ok guys so please bear with me cause i'm brand new at this. This is my first build. I have been reading all weekend about mother boards. The more i read. The bigger the headache. I'm undecided between buying a board that supports ddr2 or ddr3.
I keep seeing how ddr3 memory and boards are so unstable. And for the price of the memory i'm wondering if it's worth it.
Can you give me some input

Depends on your plan of attack. If you building a rig to last a few years, I would go with DDR 2. That way your dollar will go farther. But if you plan on up-dating on the platform your building now, you may want to future proof it by going with DDR3, for better compatablity down the road.
