OKay i can etheir get the rampage formula or the P6T which are both around the same price i know sme people think this is stupied that since their the same price it would be obvious to get the p6t. I read somewhere that the p6t has to have some special type of DDR3 RAM or somtin. and im not sure if my none i7 cpus would work with it..help?

x58 is socket 1366, AKA Core I7 only.

Just as the core2's can work in single channel....

The i7's can work in dual or single channel also... So you wouldnt require triple channel at all
