hello all. my friend is having problems with his pc he said the cpu is showing 100% usage when opening any program and it takes ages to open. he has 2gb of ram installed. as well as that even opening firfox can take 23 30 seconds to open or change a webpage plus he has had a few crashes and blue screens. it looks like a problem with the clock speeds of the cpu or ram. he overclocked it a while back when he had win xp but the same problems were there even with xp. but he told me that he had put the cpu and mem clocks back to default in the bios and said all the settings look correct but when he uses everest or cpuz they show his cpu clock as 2210.7mhz and beside that it says (original 2200mhz) the cpu multiplier says 11x and it was always on 11x. cpu fsb says 201.0mhz (original 200mhz). hypertransport clock says 803.9mhz. now he says in the bios the cpu and the rest are all on original default clock speeds so we can't figure out why everest and cpuz say different. any ideas on this problem...specs are below...
