Using different memory sticks

I have 2GB sticks of Corsair XMS DDR2 800Mhz ram but i they are selling me a 1GB of memory its 800mhz too but its a different kind of manufacturer wil it matter? mine are 5-5-5-18 will it matter if the other stick is different?

Memory will alwaya clock down to the slowest stick(s) but yes you can mix to differant brands.
Not sure about mixing 677 with 800 though.
