obviously i don't have the money now but i am researching to build my own comp so i was wondering what would be the best motherboard for gaming with a GE Force 9800 GX2 and a Intel core 2 quad processor

The best one is the one thats compatible with the hardware you want to put in it, has
the features you need, the quality you want and fits in the budget.

 

With criteria you provided theres too many choices, narrow it down.

And the high end is probably the StrikerII series. I say find some Asus P5Q board that supports what you want. I have a nice P5K board and its really good.
