Pretty, but it doesn't really do anything special, besides look pretty. So, no, it isn't worth the price imo - but worth is in the eye of the beholder. If a trophy case is important to you, it's important to you, and nothing anybody else says means anything.

Personally, I'd rather spend less on a case and more on custom cooling. You could even get a case with liquid cooling for that price point, which would actually do more than just flash at you and make all of the noise of that XClio 1000 and its wind tunnel design.

As to the second question of longevity: Three years from now just about any computer hardware will be archaic, so do not spend more now in hopes of longevity. In fact, in three years we might not even be using the same motherboard layout.

Just my two cents.. ultimately it is very much a matter of your preferences.
