can a p6n diamond run a 8200 quad core? I just took back the wolfdale duo core 8400. I said forget it get a quad core I just want to know can it run on the board?

yes but a q6600 is a far better option over then q8200

we dont know what this person wants it for - it could be that low power consumption, and/or the slightly updated SSE4 are useful to him.... but generally, the q6600 would be better....
as to the op's actual question, I dont know :P

It seems like it will. Overall, the Q6600 would be a better choice for the money.

It's okay,but the low frequency/multiplier makes it undesirable,aswell as no virtualization available.

If you don't have a good PSU,then maybe,but TBH,go for a Q9300(higher price) or a Q6600(lower price).
