Building a new server for home purposes.

OS:Ubuntu Server 8
RAM:8Gb
HD:2xSata II
CPU:Intel Quad (1333mhz)

I'm looking for an inexpensive ($100-$160) motherboard that supports raid for Ubuntu.
I realize there are software based forms of raid for Ubuntu, but to be honest I'm no linux mastermind and my dealings with bios based raid in the past has been reasonably simple.

I've been looking at Asus boards, ones with Nvidia Chipset and ones with JMicron JMB363 controller. These chipsets seem to have Linux support in some form or fashion.
Nvidia being Bios based, JMicron with Linux drivers.

I could really use some assistance with this choice, raid is critical to this setup and it's got to work!
