M3N72-D Do i have to activate Sli in BIOS

I have a M3N72-D Asus sli board. I have two 8800GT's. And i i wanted to know when i install the cards should i put both in at once with the sli bridge. And do i have to activate SLI in the bios?? PS im new to pc plz and ty. :bounce:

no there is no option to enable sli in bios. you just need to load the driver from nvidia for your video card and go into nvidia control panel and enable it there. here is how i did it. first, i put one card and installed teh driver. then i shutdown system and installed other card and connect sli bridge. when entering WINDOWS check if system detects second card. if it does just go to nvidia cotnrol panel and enable sli.
