Hi .
I have an E8300 with the specs as follows ... 1333fsb 8 X multiplier and speed rated as 2.83GHZ .. NOW . 1333/4 = 333 (quad pumped fsb) so 333x8 = 2.66GHZ so how do intel get to 2.83ghz ? windows reports 2.83ghz but cpuz inly goes to 2.6ghz with orthos running . shows 8x multiplier and 1333 fsb ?

please can someone explain this ? now a multiplier of 8.5 will give you 2.83 , but cpuz only shows that it goes to 8 . i am using and gigayte G31 motherboard .cpu is on the compatable list .
