hi guys

I have a i7 920 and a corsair H50 hydro series high performance water cooler,it is pretty decent and keeps my i7 overclocked at 3.6ghz at 69 degrees, but it has 1 shitty fan to keep the radiator cool which runs at 1700rpm at 29.75 dba.
i can mount 2 fans on the radiator and am thinkn ov Noctua NF-P12 or Scythe ultra Kaze. so i am not sure which 2 to buy,but i heard the scythe fans are pretty noisy even at 2000rpm let alone 3000rpm but 2 of those will provide intense cooling 2 the radiator but the noise will be crazy or i could get 2 ov the noctua's which will provide decent cooling 2 the radiator but quietly seeing as they operate at 1300rpm.so what i am trying 2 ask is...will the noise be worth it or will the noctua's be enough.

if u want 2 see a review of the noctua's performance go 2...http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1025/6/

thank u for your time and advice

In my machine I currently have 5 noctua 120mm fans in my case (CM stacker 830) and they are very silent plus keep my mobo nice and cool. I recommend those if you are looking for a silent solution, plus noctua is usually cheaper than Scythe.

I just picked up 4 Scythe S-Flex SFF21G and I'm very happy with them in my CM690 case.

I like them...they push a lot of air, even at 1200 RPM (Max 1900). You can hear the air that they're pushing at 1900 RPM, but other than that I can hardly hear them. Along with a XIGMATEK Dark Knight, my i7 (D0 stepping) maxes out at 66 degrees at 3.8 ghz.

By the way, what stepping i7 do you have?
