DVD Drive recommendation?

My DVD Will Not read the install disk for windows xp.

The DVD is setup as a slave and the hard drive is setup as a master with a slave. The hard drive is clean. Noting there but the Bios.

DVD Driver starts and then shuts down.

Everything is show as there but DVD want read for some reason.

In your System BIOS, the CD/DVD need to made the first boot device.
