E8400 vs E8500. 160mhz worth $25??

hi, im wondering if 160 mhz will make a noticable difference in performance. im talking about stock settings, no overclocking. is the E8500 worth it for a extra $25 or is there too little difference to be noticed. this pc is mostly gaming so im just wonderin. thanks

If you want to overclock, then it's worth it 'cause of the higher clock multiplier.

Well since you wont OC then no it wont make that much of a difference. Only reason to get the E8500 is the higher multi allowing much better OCing.
