I recently bought a Palm Tungsten E. I see where you can go under the
category list on the upper right of the screen and select a category
and at the bottom there is a edit category listing. I have gone to
that and added categories. As I install more software I want to be
able to move it into separate categories to make use easier. My
question, how can I do this? It appears to put it mostly under a
category called Unfiled when I install from the PC but my question,
how can I move these programs then to other categories I create?

See "Categorizing Applications", page 33 in the T|E manual.

Go to the top LEFT of your screen, click and select Categories. There
you are given a list of all the programs on your T|E and you can change
the category which they are in. This is also where you would go if you
wanted to Delete an application or Copy and app or Beam an app to
another Palm PDA.
