In looking at Tom's Hardware charts, it list's the Samsung F3 HD103SJ as a 500G drive, 32MB cache.

Newegg has that same part number, HD103SJ, listed as a 1TB drive.

SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Is there a part of the part number I'm not seeing?

And would I see much difference between the 32MB cache and the 16MB cache for my main drive (OS & programs). Mainly used for gaming.

500GB would be fine for me, don't really need 1TB.

edited to include link to Newegg listing

Tom's Hardware listed it wrong. HD103SJ is designated as a 1TB part. It's 500GB counterpart is HD502HJ. Technically the two are almost identical except one uses two platters and the other uses one.
