i have a WD2500JS-08NC81 and had died due to a power surge (a lot of clicking noise and the bios can't read it) . Cand i put other CPB on it to recover my data? for example i don't have another WD2500JS-08NC81 but i got a WD2500JS-xxxxxx(i dont remember the s/n now).

I don't know what you mean by CPB.
