I am somehow looking to power an external Hard drive through the internal PSU... The benefit would be that when the computer went to sleep so would the hard drive thus stoping the problem of overheating for those continuously running externals that only shut off when you switch them off. I was thinking maybe there is a way to utilize a molex connector to do this and then just match the plung ending (5.5 x 2.1 mm i believe) and twist the wires together.... Does anyone have and feedback on this????
