:hello: Hay, Thanks in advance
look my friend is building this new Budjet computer.

he wants to have a 9800GT as his Primary GPU, but
he want to put in a 7300LE ASWELL!

i said u couldent do that, it would stuff your computer up!
:pt1cable: but he still has his mind set on doing it.

i know u can't SLI those cards they have to be the same, and
and the 7300LE dosent have the SLI capability.

he clames it will improve his over all graphs.

well my Quistion is...

Can u put 2 cards that arnt the same in youe computer? (if you have the extra PCI-E slot)

if so is it recomended?

will it improve your graphs?

if so by how much?

and If so should i warn him about anything?

thanks again :hello: :hello: :hello:

Yes you can. If you have vista, they have to both use the same driver. If you have XP, you can have whatever cards you want in your computer, there shouldn't be any issues.

I don't see how. All it will do is allow you to put your IM programs, or other things on a monitor so you can glance at it in real time. You won't get your 9800GT to work faster just by having a 7300 in there.

It would be a little different if he had a more modern card in there. For example, if he put a 9500GT in there, he could have the 9800GT do the graphics, while the 9500GT handled the physics. By having a lighter load, the CPU could then feed both GPUs more info, allowing faster frame rates that way.

See above.
