Dont know if this should be coming into this post but i narrowed my problem down to where i think the problem lies. I have an asus maximus formula motherboard and im having some really messed up problems with my computer.
For starts i have a gigabyte 8800gt card as a replacement for my asus card that got burned now when i put this card into my computer im getting 2 bios load screens. One is for my current board the asus maximus formula and one is for the intel board i had, when i use my 7300 silent graphics card i don't get the problem.
Secondly i changed my RAM from 2GB of corsair value select 667MHz (which is on the QVL) to 2GB of Corsair XMS 2 RAM at 800MHz i went downstairs for half an hour came back and the entire system was frozen. My bios settings for the ram was changed to the 800MHz RAM so im not sure.
Thirdly my DVD Burner wants to burn every disc i put it wether it is burned already or not. This is also a newly replaced DVD burner.
Anyone experienced any problems like this or can help with a solution to resolve these issues im starting to go slightly mad...
I think the second bios you see is the GPU bios, at least that's what me and my brother see when we power up our rigs.
The ram problem is most likely voltage, the 667 MHz kits must've run at the standard 1.8v and the 800 MHz ones probably run at 2.1 or 2.2v which you have to set up MANUALLY in your bios.
The third problem is likely a bad drive IMO.
Anyway, did you reinstall windows after changing the motherboard??

Windows was installed when the motherboard was changed. I cant use windows xp only vista with the machine XP wouldnt install.
I checked the settings in the bios i let the board do it all automatically, i will bedouble check and then triple check to make sure hopefully i can get everything to work as it is a really sweet rig.
