I have a rather small C drive (30 GB) which is nearly full. I have a 150 GB D drive. How do I go about moving large files from C to D?

You said "large" files.

Right-click the start button, select Explore all users.

Expand both drives by clicking the plus sign at each drive.

Right-click folders that are not part of your operating system or associated with programs on drive C and select Cut.

Click on the target drive letter D and right-click, select Paste.
